Pastor Gib Botten grew up in southern California and went to college in Colorado where he met, dated and eventually married his wife of nearly 28 years--Denise. Following graduation, Gib worked for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in Southern Colorado for a number of years before finishing seminary. Following graduation from Fuller Theological Seminary they moved to the Caribbean where Gib served as the national director of InterVarsity in Puerto Rico. In 1998 the Bottens were called to the parish ministry of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Dodge City, KS where they have served until coming to Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont, NE in July 2009. They have three daughters. Pastor Gib's passion in ministry is helping Christians to grow as serious disciples of Jesus.

Gloria Andreasen has been volunteering as our secretary since moving into the new facility in 2009. Working in a church office has been her vocation for the past thirty years. She and her husband, Merritt, enjoy volunteering at Peace since both are retired. In her spare time she enjoys flower gardening and the peace and quiet of country living.

Choir Director / Church Secretary
Carrie and her husband Bob reside in Hooper. They have three sons, all grown and married; and four grandchildren. Spending time with family is at the top of the list for enjoyment. Besides Carrie's love for music, she is an avid sports fan - following all of the Husker sports, The Chicago Cubs and yes, car racing as well.
