Vision Statement on Discipleship

The vision of Peace Lutheran Church is to make disciples whose hearts and minds are committed:

1.      To hearing, reading, and obeying the Holy Scriptures which promise to transform us through the power of the Holy Spirit.

2.      To a life of prayer, worship and other spiritual disciplines in order to develop a closer relationship with the Lord and grow in Christ-like character.

3.      To growing in our life together as an authentic community of believers in Christ which is marked by grace and truth.

4.      To their calling in ministry both in the church and community by discovering, developing and using their unique spiritual gifts.

5.      To reaching out with the gospel and the love of Christ outside the walls of the church and throughout the world.
